The human body has several organs which are there to perform the most complex functions. These organs cannot perform their functions independently and have dependent worthiness to each issued system. So each organ will definetly depend on other organs. In order to mantain normal physiology, functions of these organs must be in a coordinated form so that's they can can work in proper way. Coordination is the process by which two or more organs interact and complement the functions of each other. Integration I should the process which makes the two or more organs to work as a functional unit in perfect harmony. The neural system (previously called as the nervous system) performs two functions 1) Coordination and 2) Integration.
It involves both, control and coordination of various bodily functions through the highly specialised cells called Neurons.
