Pituitary gland--
Oxytocin - Causes uterine contraction during child birth. Increases permeability of Renal Tubules.

Melanophore Stimulating Hormone- No function in humans but responsible for skin colouration in Amphibians and reptiles.

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone - Stimulates Thyroid gland to release thyroxine.

Human Growth Hormone - It promotes body growth.

Adreno-Cortico Trophic Hormone-- Stimulates adreno cortex to release hormones named Glucocorticoids, Mineralocorticoids and Androgens

Follicle Stimulating hormone- Stimulates ovarian cells to release progesterone.

Prolacton in females- Stimulates lactation in females after child birth

Leutinising Hormone in females- Stimulates ovarian folicals to secrete progesterone.

ADRENALINE GLAND-
Glucocorticoids- They infulence carbohydrate, protein and fats metabolism.

Mineralocorticoids - Controls mineral metabolism by retaining sodium and potassium ions through urine.

Androgens- Responsible for accessory male and female characteristics before puberty.
