in MAHARASHTRA AND KARNATAKA it is called KONKAN COAST
Along KERALA it is called MALABAR COAST
the COAST OF TAMIL NADU lies in the eastern ghats and not in WESTERN GHATS .
THIS COAST IS CALLED COROMANDLE COAST
