40 g = 0.04 kg

144 N = 0.04 * a

a = 3600 m/s^2

per second = a/t = v = 3600 m/s

but each bullet can travel at 1200 m/s

so no of bullets is 3600/1200

= 3 bullets

Given :- mass of bullet = 40 g

velocity = 1200 m/s

force exerted by man = 144N

Let n be the number of bullets that the man can fire in one second

•°• change in momentum per second

=> n × mv = F

[ m = mass of bullets , v = velocity ] {°•° F is the force )

°•° n = f /mv = 144 * 1000 / 40 * 1200 n = 3. 3 bullets he can fire per second
