Nana Saheb is the adopted of Baji Rao 2 the last Peshwa. Nana Saheb was denied pension from the British because he was the adopted son ( Doctrine of lapse rule which was introduced by Lord Dalhousie). Nana Saheb was lived far away from his family (Kanpur) seat at Pune.
