Your Answer

Area of cloth = 1638 cm^2 .
We know ,
Area of square = Side * Side
She wants to make bedsheet of 35 cm .
then required area = 35*35
=1225 cm^2 .

then ,
 she can make a bedsheet of 40 cm maximum because
Area = 40 * 40
= 1600 cm^2
because 41 cm sheet cannot be made as the cloth area is not enough for it
because Area = 41 * 41 = 1681 cm^2

If she want to make a Square bed sheet of 35 cm, So area of bed sheet must be equal or lesser than the area of square piece, i.e. 1638 cm^2

Checking, area of bed sheet =35×35
Area of bed sheet = 1225 cm^2

Hence, she can make the square bed sheet of 35 cm

Area of square piece = 1638 cm^2
side = √1638 cm^2
side = 40.47 cm

Hence, the maximum length of square bed sheet can be 40.47 cm
