Naphthalene ball are used in a box having clothes to protect from insects. After a few days ,the sizes of the balls gradually decreases and ultimately they disappear . How does it happen? Explain with reason

napthalene balls undergo sublimation where a tate of matter changes directly from solid state to gaseous state so the size decreases as the time passes.

Naphthalene balls get small in size because naphthalene ball produces naphthalene vapuors.

Naphthalene balls actually under goes sublimtaion evolving relaxes of vapour from its ball.

This is responsible for loss of size.
