Naresh bought 4 dozen pencils at Rs 12 a dozen and sold them for 50 paise each. Find his gain or loss percent.

Answer:

1 dozen=12 pencils cost 12₹

1 ₹=100 paise

12 ₹=1200 paise

loss and profit = 12×50/1200= calculate yourself
