Seeing Paris from the air is always a treat. Not only is it easy to recognise some of the city’s most famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre, it’s also a great way to truly appreciate the beauty of Baron Haussmann‘s stunning design of the city’s wide boulevards, epicentres and parks.
On a recent plane trip from Amsterdam to Valencia, the flight path took us directly over the heart of Paris. It was a partially cloudy day but the views between the clouds were astounding. I often find myself in row ‘A’ on many regional European flights – I must’ve mentioned a preference for this row some time ago. Sitting in row ‘A’ on a flight from Amsterdam to Spain provides passengers with gorgeous views of, among others, the Millau Viaduct. However, on this particular flight, I was allocated a seat in row ‘F’ (the right side of the plane) and the views were equally stupendous.
