Once upon once upon a time on a cold night , I was all alone at home . My my parents went to my cousin's wedding and I was unable to go because of my just 2 days after my exams were going to start. It was 7 ' O clock. I was busy doing my preparations . Suddenly , I heard a voice from my backyard . I thought that maybe they is any cat or mouse and I ignored that. After 3 minutes again I have the same noise. I ignored it again. But again the voice came. This time I was sure that there is no animal . Something wrong this happening . I stood and went to the window . I saw outside but fortunately there was nothing . Then I again went back and started studying . Then I became too busy in studying that I forgot the time and even to eat or drink . I was too much lost in my studies. Then suddenly I realised that it's midnight now. The clock was exactly struck to 12. I was feeling hungry . I went to kitchen for eating something . I was not at all in the mood of eating dinner . So, I took some snacks and went to drawing room . I switched on the TV but there was nothing so interesting . Still, I was searching for something interesting. All of a sudden I heard some footsteps from upstairs . I became little bit scared . I slowly went up to see that what's there with the torch . This time again nothing was there . I again went to drawing room . I finish the whole snacks and now I went to kitchen again for having my dinner . I was just taking out the food and I felt that someone run out behind my back. I immediately turn back and the lights became off. I heart rate now increase too much and I was so scared .I lighting the torch and ask who is there . But there was no reply . The lights came again. I took a sigh of relief . I again started watching TV and just after few minutes the lights again turned off . And immediately I heard a scary noise from my room calling my name XYZ. My heart started beating very fastly. I switched on the torch but it was also not turning on . I head under my sofa and screamed who is there? But I didn't got any reply again . Suddenly the bell rang. I was now at the stage of crying . I slowly went to door. I again asked who is there but nobody replied again . I started crying. The door bell started ringing again and again and again . I frightenedly opened the door. As soon as I opened the door, a bright sparkles of golden and silver light fall on my eyes and my eyes opened.

A Young couple buy a new house.Some workmen help to move their furniture into the house. The women named Carrie just enter the house when she see two men carrying a coffin across the garden. Their faces be absolutely white and they wear black suits. She think this was very strange and ask the workmen who the men were and why they carry a coffin across her garden! The workmen look puzzled as they had not seen any men walking across the garden.
A few weeks later Carrie shop in a big department sore. She wait on the top floor for the lift to come. The lift come and its doors open, but it was full. The liftman hold the door open and said, ' There's room for one more'. Carrie was about to get in the lift, when suddenly a shiver go down her spine and she feel cold and afraid. She not want to get into the lift, but she not know why. She decided to take the stairs.
While she walking down the stairs, she suddenly understand what had frightened her: the face of the liftman was the same as one of the men who carried the coffin across her garden. She felt that she had seen a ghost! When she get down to the ground floor, she hear screaming and shouting and see lots of people running about. She ask what had happened and the doorman tell her that the lift had crashed, killing everyone who was in it!
