The door was open when Raju first heard the noise. It was sickenly loud and shrill. He wanted to ignore the blaring shierk at first, but to his dismay, the noise grew louder and louder. And by the time he got on his feet to rush to the door and close it, it became unbearable enough to rattle his teeth. His skin pricked and crawled but Raju somehow managed to struggle forward and closed the door. Palming his ears, Raju waited for the noise to stop until the words left his mouth,"Stop! Oh, stop! I can't bear to listen to your cries. It drives me mad." Everytime Raju tries hard to forget his past, it creeps back to his mind like a sound punishment. It was the same shierk his sister yelled that night. That night when his greed overpowered his humanity and made him a beast forever. Raju always felt he was the ignored child among them and indeed he was. His intentions and greed were ignored. His spoiled traits were ignored and the deeds he did to attarct attention were avoided. It was what that made him a criminal. A crime was done and nobody could spin the wheel of fortune. Although the idea of killing his sister was just a dream, it grew into a reality when he slowly stabbed her to death. One night it was a home, the next night it turned into a crime scene. His sister never won the "best sister" award but she loved him from the core of her little heart. And that knife in his hand drove her innocence to yell for help. Nobody was there. A bad seed rotted the whole garden. Two lives were destroyed.
