Answer:
The month of March is going on. For us Indians, March is synonyms with exams. This month is always a bit tough on us, but even tougher on those appearing for board exams. From burning of midnight lamps to increase in the prayers to God and to buttering teachers; we see it all. Everyone eagerly waits for the boards to finish so that they can feel the wave of relief overtake them. But, what these students fail to realize earlier is that not only board exams, but an era of their life will come to an end. On the dawn of this realization they undergo a cyclone of emotions and feelings. Here is a list of 7 things that every human will experience at the end of a joyous period of their lives: SCHOOL LIFE!
Explanation:
1. No more waking up early
Admit it we all hate waking up early. The sleep in the early hours of morning is the most precious to us. We really dislike our alarm clocks and mothers for waking us up from our beloved slumber at 5 or 6’o clock in the morning. No more school is equivalent to extra hours of morning sleep. Yaiye! How appealing it sounds.
2. Goodbye school uniform
Why do our Indian schools have the concept of school of school uniform? Why cannot we wear normal routine clothes as students in the western world do? Uniforms are so unflattering and boring. We can do no style with them. But, not anymore. Also we can now have big painted nails and our hair styled as per our desire.
3. Wait. No more school? School life no more?
After the stage of initial happiness and excitement, dawn upon us the harsh reality. Our senses and heart revolt against this truth. When did I grow so big? What will I do now with my life? Am I ready to take responsibility? I’m sure I’m not ready to come to out of my cocoon. I do not like it. I don’t want it to happen. I want to go back to time. I want to live my school life again. And the list of such questions and feelings continues. We all have tears in our eyes when the school life ends. It hurts badly.
4. My beloved school friends how will I survive, when I won’t be able to spend time with you every day for at least 6 hours?
School friends are the closet to our hearts and stay with us forever. We have spent good 15 years with them. We grew up with them; we share the most cherished moments with them. From playing pranks at teachers to creating nuisance in class to cheating in exams to being naughty to fighting and teasing each other to loving each other to being entertainers to being partners in crime and so on; you have done it all. Only a thought about them is enough to make you feel good about life. Farewell to them is hardest thing ever.
5. Dear teachers I will miss you too.
You must be surprised, but admit it; you definitely will miss the teachers. You will miss it all their lectures, scolding, pet dialogues, typical assents, expressions, witty jokes, their stories, laugh, and many more habits. School teachers are your friends too. You can talk to them about anything and they will give you the best guidance. Teachers we love you and owe you for a life time. *HUGS*.
6.No more of fun, sharing of tiffin, leading the school and being a star.
“Hey! I’m hungry. Take out your yummy sandwiches. I want to savor on them.” “I’m not sharing my tiffin with you.” These dialogues are so close to our hearts. Sadly, we need to stop saying them. No more of bus rides, no more of playing cricket in class with pencil box, no more of secretly chatting in class, no more of being leads in school pays and debates, no more of representing your school outside and being part of the school team, no more of bossing your juniors or being their favorite senior or their pals, no more of your comfort zone and many such no mores. The school life brings an end to many numerous small things that make you what you are today. A part of your life goes missing. *SIGHS*.
7. I will always remember you.
School ends up being a huge part in our lives. Thinking of it moistens our eyes and brings a smile on our lips. You will leave no chance to visit it whenever you can. You will eagerly wait for school functions and fete so you have a reason to visit and meet all the wonderful people and relive your life again.
