Many incidents I faced.
1.We were going to Mysore. We booked tickets in advance. It's a private bus.
By the time we reached bus stand the operator told we have to go in another bus, since our bus got booked in last minute by some influenced people. We said it's ok. Asked for that another bus.
They said sheepishly it's after two hours. It's coming from Mysore.
We got angry because we will reach at night and it will be late for us to search for a hotel. Those times online bookings were not there.
I fought with him.
He said, hogamma! Asthu kaayakku aagilla andarey innondu travels nodukoli.
( Go away lady, if you cannot wait for it, search for other travels)
I felt very bad and was furious at his attitude. My husband said let us ask for refund and go in another bus.
That fellow with murmering refunded half the money and threatened us to go anywhere and tell whomever we want, he is not scared of any one. I'm simple words get last!!
He said It's our fault we could not wait!!
I was 23 years old. It's straight away cheating. My blood boiled like anything. My husband tried to calm me down.
But I said to them angrily.
‘Laugh now by cheating people! There is one, the god above all. He will take care of you. Then also I hope you will have same smile on your lips!’
My husband pulled me. He said they will face their own karmaphal. Don't curse like that.
We are in majestic area. We don't know language, they had all their people. My husband said ‘this is not a movie to attack and teach him a lesson. We will give police complaint. They are not educated to talk. If they attack us what is our back up plan? We did not come prepared for a fight. Just cool down.
He chided me for booking in private travels when plenty of govt buses are there.
I got carried away by the looks and comfort of private bus since I would fall sick in bus travel.
Now I had my lesson. Govt may be lazy, faulty, corrupted, may not be giving that great service. But it will stand by it's rules. Had some system. You have someone to ask, complaint. Private buses run at owner's whims and fancies. Our quarter’s govt bus runs in time even there is a single passenger!
we reached govt bus stand and boarded another bus. But not before giving the owner of that private bus my heart felt cursing and disgusting look.
Because we planned a lot for this trip. Each rupee did matter to me. And that fellow is at fault.
Infront of us their bus started with all those people. The owner fellow who cheated us also boarded that bus. May be he wants to escort them since they are influencial people. Later Our bus too followed.just we reached near srirangapatnam.
Dhadel !! Big bang,loud sound! Their bus met with an accident. Our bus also stopped with sudden break making us fall on front seats.
All the buses which are plying on that road are stopped. Passengers in that bus have miraculous escape from death but suffered injuries and bruises. Left side of the bus become beyond shape and recognition. Remaining all vehicle drivers on road stopped their vehicles and pushed that bus aside. All passengers got down. Bus is in not movable condition.
Our bus after ten minutes moved ahead. We went to srirangapatnam had darshan and came back.
The owner who cheated us was still there standing and begging all other bus drivers to adjust those passengers in their vehicles and take them to Mysore.
He stood at road side and frantically talking with some one.
I just looked at him.. want to wave my hand with a sarcastic grin but scared of my husband. He will scold me for being childish.
That fellow turned his head other side seeing me!!
We boarded another bus from that point and went ahead to Mysore.
