As the sunlight poured through the curtains, the resting dews on the leaves announced the end of my winter vacation. Little bubbles of joy started to boil in me as my basketball tournament waited in the school. All the luggage was adroitly packed by Sarita, our helper. I had come to stay at our granny's house and now as the end of winter break approaches it's time to leave. Around six o'clock, when we were about to leave, Sarita didi came rushing towards the room with a mobile phone in her hand. A panic situation erupted. She showed us a piece of news stating that due to the ongoing strike, all the roads were closed. Finally, after a lot of discussion, it was decided that I won't go to school tomorrow but how could I let that happen? So, being too adamant, I decided to walk my way to school. It was hard and my feet were cramped, but finally, I made my way through and reached the school safe and sound. My parents, especially my mother was really mad at me and i was rounded for a weekend but I made my Basketball tournament and won a handsome position.
