Answer:

It was my birthday and I had arrange for a birthday party. A lot of my friends had come together to celebrate. All my friends arrived and then we decided to cut the cake. Then I realized that the cake order was not yet received. I dialed the cake shop and I was told that cake was not ready and would be delivered in an hour. All my friends were not satisfied by this hospitality. Sannie, my best friend, made them understand the situation. After an hour, I received the cake.

Then all my friends began to sing a Birthday Song and as I was about to cut the cake the power went off. I put on the candles and we had a candle light dinner which was totally surprising. It began to rain suddenly and as my birthday was arranged in a garden everything had became terribly cold and wet.

This was the worst way I had ever celebrated my birthday and I hope this doesn't happen again.

Story:

My parents are celebrating their 40th marriage anniversary. They wanted to celebrate it in a very grand manner. I have 3 siblings and I am the last child to my parents. My husband and I reached my parent's house 1 week earlier. Likewise, other two siblings came with their respective family.

The house was in full swing. As usual, I was left out of the preparation. So, I made myself chill and relaxed in my room. I was having a very fun time. My sister came and asked me to company her to some errands. I was in no mood to help her. But, the thing I married pushed me to help her, so I went with her.

She took me to my parents' room straight. They were talking to a florist. After the florist left, we both sat in a chair. I usually maintain distance with my parents, as I don't like to physically touch them. The next question my sister asked froze me. She asked to segregate the jewels between me and her, as they gave one share to my other sister.

I was about to stand but my mother's look stopped me. Thanks to my sister and husband for a situation that I would have never encountered in my life. Later, I mustered courage and told thanked my parents for the education they provided and it is more than enough for me and left the room.
