Reference: We come across these word in the essay “The curb in the sky” written by James Thurber. He was an American humourist and he wrote many book, they are The seal in the bedroom, My life and Hard times are some of Thurber’s well know book. He was not only blessed with skill to write book and play but also an amazing to draw cartoons

Context: IN this essay the writer, James Thurber try to explain his friend Charlie Deshler life after his marriage to Dorothy and the behaver of Dorothy

Illustration: Charlie would begin to tell a strange dream which he had knowing that Dorothy could not correct him on his own dreams. He dreamt that he was running an airplane. It was made out of telephone wires and pieces of old leather. He was trying to make it fly to the moon. taking off from his bedroom. When he reached half way up to the moon, a man waved at him to stop. The man looked like Santa Claus. He was dressed in the uniform of a custom officer. He was in a plane made of telephone wires. Charlie could not go to the moon, if he was the man who invented those wedding cookies. He showed Charlie a cookie in the shape of a man and woman being married, made of dough and fastened firmly to a round, crisp cookie base. Thus the story of the dream went on.
