Helen keller loved the ocean. But her first swimming trip as a young girl took her by surprise. She changed her clothes to swimming suit and jumped into the cold water. She felt the great billows rock and sink. The buoyant motion of water filled herself with equisite, quivering joy. Suddenly her ectstacy gave place to terror,
Her foot struck into the rock amd suddenly the water was above her head. She thrist out her hands to grab some support and water was going into her lungs. All of sudden her efforts become useless and the waves started tossing her here and there. It was so fearfull for her the good earth was not under her feet but out of nowhere she was thrown to the shore when she opened her eyes she was in a teachers hand. Thats how her experience was on her first visit to the ocean
