The risks taken by Baleshwar Mishra to save Roma were.
- Roma Talreja was travelling in a ladies special train between Ghansoli and Rabale railway stations and she fell from the train and hit her head which lead to severe bleeding. The railway personnel did not stop the train and come to her help.
- 19-year-old Baleshwar Mishra seeing that the woman needed help jumped off another Vashi bound train he was travelling in and ran towards Roma to help her he picked her up and went to the main road to stop any vehicles for help and initially nobody stopped but later on a vehicle stopped and took him and Roma to a hospital but the hospital refused to admit Roma citing a lack of facilities then he took her to another hospital in Ghansoli.
- It was due to Mishra's effort that Roma survived.
