yeah its 100% true

sometime child need times for their own development, at the teenage they believe that they're the superior one and they can take their own decision better then there parents however this perception is wrong but parents should give some freedom to their child to take decision ,this will help their children in learning there mistake and there love for their parents also increase but if parents do not give time then children will come in depression and even they may loose self confidence
