A visit to a historical place is always an exciting experience. It is a fascinating adventure. I had one such experience during the last summer vacations, when I visited Amritsar.
With my family, I reached Amritsar by train. After some rest, we undertook a visit to Amritsar. Amritsar is a historical city. We visited the Golden Temple first. The Golden Temple in Amritsar is the holiest shrine of the Sikh region. This Temple has been destroyed many times and had been rebuilt again. It was built during the reign of Akbar, who had great respect for all religions. The domes of the Temple are covered in gold.
Golden Temple of Amristar is also known as Harmandar Sahib or Darbar Sahib. It is a great pilgrimage centre of the Sikhs. The holy temple was completed under the direct control and supervision of Guru Arjan Dev. It's foundation stone was laid by a renowned Muslim divine, Mian Mir. It was given four doors, one in each direction. It has a large pool around it.
By noon, we had completed the tour of Golden Temple and returned back. I enjoyed my trip to the Golden Temple very much. It was really an unforgettable experience which apart from being intellectually rewarding gave us a glimpse of our country's proud history.
Answer:
Visit some beautiful place
Explanation:
I went on a Vaishno Devi yatra with my friends in April this year. I had gone there with my family and we had a lot of fun. Traveling with friends and traveling with family are different. We were five friends and we had decided to travel by train and at that time the trains were very crowded. Our train was from Ambala at 10 pm. As soon as the train arrived, we all boarded it and ate our food. All of my friends played ludo at night and played antakshari.
We opened the windows and enjoyed the cool air while the train was passing through Jammu. We reached Katra at 7 in the morning where the temple of Mata Vaishno Devi is situated in the hills.
After reaching there, we took a room in the hotel, took a rest, and at one o'clock started our climb to the temple of Mata which is 14 km. After climbing about two kilometers, we reached Baan Ganga and took a bath there. The water of the Ganges was very cold. After that, we stopped and had dinner. Very good security arrangements have been made on the climb of Vaishno Devi.
Mule and palanquin etc. are arranged for climbing old people. There are bags for carrying children and bags. Their condition is very pathetic, they do this work to earn their livelihood. Looking around, we kept on climbing and playing with the name of Mother Rani while laughing. Due to the heat in the afternoon, we kept drinking lemonade, juice, etc. at some distance. While doing this, we reached Mata's temple and after waiting in line for 6 hours, we had a darshan of Mata Rani.
After this, we started the ascent of Bhairon Baba without which the journey is considered incomplete. It was very cold at night. We started going down. After reaching the room we took a rest and took the train to return. This three-day trip gave us a very pleasant experience which we can never forget.
