  • Animals found in the Arctic Tundra includes herbivorous mammals like hares and squirrels;carnivorous animals like polar bears,wolves;fish like salmon,trout;insects like flies,moths etc.
  • There is absence of reptiles and amphibians because of cold climate.
  • The food web begins with Producers involving the plant species.
  • Then comes the Primary consumer which includes pikas ,lemmings,etc.
  • The Secondary consumer which includes Omnivores and Carnivores like fox,arctic wolves,brown bears,etc.
