- Animals found in the Arctic Tundra includes herbivorous mammals like hares and squirrels;carnivorous animals like polar bears,wolves;fish like salmon,trout;insects like flies,moths etc.
- There is absence of reptiles and amphibians because of cold climate.
- The food web begins with Producers involving the plant species.
- Then comes the Primary consumer which includes pikas ,lemmings,etc.
- The Secondary consumer which includes Omnivores and Carnivores like fox,arctic wolves,brown bears,etc.
- Then comes the bacteria and fungi which are important for the break down of organic matter and add nutrients to the soil.
