It was a trip for friends. They were driving to a zoo. The zoo was located far away. The kids were excited. Never before had they seen wild animals. There were just cats and dogs they had met. There were bears and gorillas they wanted to see. The older sibling didn't feel excited. He had previously been to the zoo. There were so many occasions he had been there. It was his tenth time now. He no longer wished to go there. Dad and Mom enjoyed the zoo. It was a successful learning experience. Grandpa went, too. Sound asleep, he was. At the zoo, they arrived. They've seen all the creatures. They heard the sound of a bear. The starfish touched them. They had seen gorillas. The day was a long one. The family became tired. They were sitting and eating food. They walked back to the car. Back home, they drove.
Visit to a zoo
Our school broke up for the winter vacations. One day I went to Vandalur zoo with my friends. The entry was by tickets. We went up several steps to purchase the tickets. Then we entered the zoo.
We walked up and down. A deep canal ran parallel to the footpath. Beyond the canal there were small trees. The cages of the birds were hanging down the branches of the trees. Their multi-coloured feathers gleamed into sunlight.
Next we saw a small water pond with many kinds of birds swimming in it. It was interesting to see new birds in an enclosure. They twittered, chirped and whistled. They presented nature’s voice. It was pleasing indeed to hear them. We saw many birds there - sparrows, nightingales and owls of different colours set in the closed cage. The owls sat with closed eyes lost in thoughts. We bade a silent farewell to those philosophers among birds and walked on.
We visited the tigers, lions and bears shut in cages. We saw some hippos and also a rhino. We heared the loud roar of a lion. One tiger was in a fit of anger. The tiger was strong and handsome. I was reminded of Blake’s lines.

Then we enjoyed a boat cruise. I enjoyed it most. We also saw many other fauna like crocodiles, snakes, frogs, fish ad a hundred other creatures. They all felt at home in the zoo. Last of all we saw different kinds of monkeys.
We passed many happy hours in the zoo. It was a pleasing experience for all of you
The best day of my life
Everyday is best day, but the the most beautiful day of my life is that when someone new came to our house and that is my small brother. I still remember the day when he born. When I went to hospital to see him I saw that he was really small and cute. His eyes were big and cheeks are red. Seeing that now I also have a small brother like others make me felt happy.
When I tell that about my friends they also congratulates me. Everyone came to see him. I played with him also. When he smiles he look more beautiful and innocent. While playing his little fingers hold my hands and then he laugh after seeing me.
I cannot express that how much I felt good that day. But I am really lucky to find a sweet brother like him. When he was born is the most beautiful and best day of life. And because of him; now I am also a bigger sister like others who have to take care of his small brother.
