National Science Day (NSD) is celebrated in India on February 28 every year. The day is celebrated to commemorate the discovery of the 'Raman Effect' by the great Indian physicist Sir CV Raman on February 28, 1928. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930 for the same.28-Feb-2020
