The national flag of the United States of America, consists of thirteen horizontal stripes of red alternating with white, with a blue rectangle, bearing fifty small, white, five-pointed stars. The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states of the United States of America and the 13 stripes represent the thirteen British colonies that declared independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain and became the first states in the Union

Jana Gana Mana is the national anthem of India. Written in Sanskritised Bengali, it was composed by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. It was first sung in Calcutta Session of the Indian National Congress on 27 December 1911. It was officially adopted as the Indian national anthem on 24 January 19500
