Yes they are interdependent on each other as :-

Explanation:

1) the animals get need oxygen to survive which they get from plants and on the other hand plants need carbondioxide which they get from wildlife.

2) wildlife needs food to survive and as they can't make their own food they get their food from plants as they are autotrophic and on the other hand plants need fertile soil for good growth so, after the dead body of an animal is decomposed it makes the soil fertile and trees grow really well there.

3) if vegetation wouldn't be there the herbivores wouldn't get food for which they may die and then the carnivores would not get their food too and the whole food chain will be disturbed and on the other hand if herbivores won't be there to feed on vegetation their would be excess of vegetation.
