Natural water body are not regularly clean whereas an aquarium regularly clean .why?

Natural water bodies contain natural cleansers like bacteria and fungi which are decompose the organic matter. But an aquarium is an artificial ecosystem and therefore it needs to be cleaned regularly.

Natural water bodies like ponds and lakes not need to clean regularly because in ponds and lakes decomposing organisms are present to breakdown the waste materials into small particles, but in aquarium these decomposing organisms are not present so we need to clean regularly
