In order to consider the impact of nature, ecology and evolution, I would like to look at sickle cell trait condition.

Individuals living in tropical region where malaria is pandemic do not suffer from malaria in that they are heterozygous for the sickle cell anaemia hence have sickle cell trait.

Due to evolution, they will give birth to the to their offspring having sickle cell trait hence the generation which is resistant to malarial attack will come into existence.
