In the poem the poet suggests ways how can we become friends of nature. The poet says that everyone should be a friend of nature and according to him it is very easy to become a friend of nature. He had suggested few ways in which we can be the friends and could help them. The poet had taken examples of various animals, birds and insects and has suggested ways in which we can help them. For bee he says that we can help them by not picking flowers, for horse we can choose to be kind to them, for birds we can help them by providing them some food. In this way the poet gives the message of helping animals and being their true friends.
