The 33rd ASEAN summit was held in Singapore from 13th to 15th November 2018. The leaders pledged in the summit to increase the green jobs.

ASEAN or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations were founded by Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand in the year 1967 and later Brunei, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Lao PDR joined them.  

The main purpose is to look into the economic growth in the region and have good bilateral relationships amongst the member counties.
