Navdeep, Parikh, and Anjali entered into a partnership firm. Initially, Navdeep and Parikh invested in Rs. 20,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively. Four months later Anjali entered into this firm with an investment of Rs. 30,000 and 2 months later Parikh withdraws Rs 5000 and Navdeep invested Rs. 2000 more. At the end of the year, the profit was Rs. 92,000. Then find the share of Parikh if Navdeep withdraws an amount of Rs 2000 per month for maintenance

Answer: Rs.24434.4

Step-by-step explanation:

+Navdeep = 10000 for 6 months + (10000 + 2000) for next 6 months = 60000 + 72000 = Rs.132000

+ Parikh = 15000 for 6 months + (15000 - 5000) for next 6 months =

90000 + 60000 = Rs.150000

Anjali = 20000 for 8 months = Rs.160000

since profit ratio is equal to investment ratio . so,

Navdeep : Parikh : Anjali = 132000 : 150000 : 160000 = 66 : 75 : 80

then,

Share of Parikh = (75/221) * 72000 = Rs.24434.4 (Ans.)
