SI
 =  \frac{pnr}{100}  \\
total interest is
 =  \frac{10000 \times 2 \times 10}{100}  +  \frac{15000 \times 2 \times 12}{100}  \\  = 5600

Anonymous: total is 25000

total amount = Rs 25000

S.I for money 10000 that he gave to his friend at 10 % per annum for 2 years

S.I = 10000 × 10 × 2 / 100

S.I = 2000

remaining money = 25,000 - 10,000

= Rs 15,000

simple interest for money Rs 15000 at 12% per annum for 2 years.

S.I = 15000 × 12 × 2/ 100

S.I = 150 × 12 × 2 = Rs 3600

Total interest he received after 2 years

= 2000 + 3600 = Rs 5600
