Navin walks 3/5 of the total distance in the first two minutes and still ha 200 metres has to cover. What is the total length of track​

Given :

The distance cover by Navin = $\dfrac{3}{5}$ of total distance

The left distance length to cover = 200 meters

To Find :

Total length of track

Solution :

Let the total distance of track = d meters

∵ The distance cover by Navin = $\dfrac{3}{5}$ of total distance

                                                    = $\dfrac{3}{5}$ × d meters

So,

Total distance = distance cover by Navin +  left distance length to cover

Or,                 d =  $\dfrac{3}{5}$ × d meters +  200 meters

Or       d -  $\dfrac{3}{5}$ × d = 200

Or,      $\dfrac{5d-3d}{5}$ = 200

Or,       5 d - 3 d = 200 × 5

Or,                2 d = 1000

∴                       d = $\dfrac{1000}{2}$

i.e       Distance = 500 meters

Hence, Total length of the track is 500 meters . Answer
