Navneet purchased a motorcycle with a marked price of ₹45000 at a discount of 5% .if 10% sales tax is charged ,find the net amount navneet had to pay to purchase the motorcycle

=2250
sp=45000-2250
=42750
tax=10% of 42750
=4275
Total amount=42750+4275
=47025

Mp of motorcycle=45000Rs

Discount=5%

Discount price=5% of 45000

=5/100×45000

= 2250Rs

New price = 45000-2250

=42750Rs

Sales tax = 10%

Price after sales tax is added=10% of 4270.

= 10/100×4270

=4275Rs

Total amount=42750+4275

=47025Rs
