becz sinhal language people are made of 74% ,but tamil are 18% ( indian tamil 5% ,sri lanka tamil 13% tamil wanted same opportunities as sinhali but sinhali wants for majoritian govt so tamil formed tiger tamil elem upto 1970 this strugge continue and after that it became calm .
