   Loudness is related to the volume of the sound. It is related to the amplitude of the sound wave.    Loudness is related to the sensation in the ear regarding the audibility of sounds.

   Intensity is the power transferred or propagated through the sound wave across a unit surface area perpendicular to the velocity of sound wave.

   sound level is measured as the logarithm of intensity of sound in decibels.

   loudness is an informal way of quantifying sounds. Intensity is a scientific and quantitative way.
