this is because rubber cuts the flow of current and stops the current from passing their body as it is an insulator and our body is a conductor of electricity.......

PLASTIC OR RUBBER ARE INSULATORS OF ELECTRICITY. THEY DO NOT ALLOW ELECTRICITY TO PASS THROUGH THEM. THEREFORE, IT IS USED TO MAKE HANDLES OF SCREWDRIVERS AND PLIERS SO THAT THE ELECTRICIANS DO NOT GET AN ELECTRIC SHOCK.
