How does an electric fan manage to throw so much air when it is switched on?

The fan is created in such a manner that when it is switched on it can spin the arms of the fan ...and so due to the spin the air is flungs ...and thus we get air..but according to me ceiling fans are a bad invention because the warm air always rises from our body and so the fan pushes the warm air back down so it makes us feel warmer side walled fans are better as it pushes the warm air out of the room etc....so the answer is actually due to the electricity that the fan get energy and the arms of the fan rotate.....thank u

The fan gets power from electricity and makes the fan rotate.

The blades of the fan push the cool air down making the room cool.
