Plan C was a success. What went wrong then?

Plan C was to climb on the garden wall and jump on the tree and save the cat. The plan failed because dad leaped/leapt from the wall and got stuck in the crook of the tree trunk. The cat got frenzied and sprang to the ground.

Yes, plan C was a success. Dad was successful to make the cat free but Dad himself got stuck up on the tree.!
