(a) Potential and actual resources

differences between potential resources  and actual resources are:
1.potential resources are those which are known to exist and may be used in future with the help of technology for example:petroleum and coal.
2. actual resources are those which their quality and quantity are surveyed and are being used now. for example natural gas

Potential Resources-These are the resources whose total quantity may not be                                      known.these resources are not being used at present.these                                 could be used in the future.
                              Ex:Uranium found in Ladakh

Actual Resources-These are the sources whose quantity are known.These                                     sources are being used at present.
                          ex:the rich deposits of coal in ruhr region of germany
