Plastic materials are non-biodegradable and hence it is not advisable to use. it has many adverse effects on our environment. Plastics which are buried in soil caused soil pollution. When it is burnt, many harmful gases are produced leading to air pollution. They pose a threat to aquatic lives when disposed in water sources. So instead of using plastic, we can use biodegradable substances which are eco-friendly like jute bags, paper bags etc.
