Combustion of fuels like petroleum leaves out unburnt carbon particles into the atmosphere.These particles pollutes the air and combines with moisture in air to produce Acid rain.Inhaling these particles also creates respiratory problems.
However CNG produces less smoke and is comparitively cleaner fuel than other fuels.thus ,use of CNG reducedpollution in cities

now a days cng is used automobiles because cng is less combustible that means it doesn't release harmful products like carbomonoxide. it has high ignitious temperature. it doesn't lead to acid rains
