Aluminium foils are used to wrap food items as they are highly malleable i.e. they can be beaten into thin sheets and it also does not react with food.

Because it is an insulating material. which means it will not conduct heat.So it will keep the heat contained within the food. sooooooooooooo aluminium foils are used to wrap food items..............

Heat is lost three ways, radiation, conduction, and convection
the foil stops the heat from escaping the food. it reflects in back inward
