It is difficult to burn a heap of green leaves but dry leaves catch fire easily. Explain.

Green leaves have water in them in dry leaves have water but very very less.
in other word the ignition point of green leaves are higher about 100 degree celsius because water is present and for burning water must be evaporate and when it dry it's ignition point is change and may lower bcoz the water is not present

the green leaves have a soft moisture surface in them which will not make it to burn.But the dry leaves contain a large amount of oxygen content which makes it to burn.
