she commented that packletide had not killed the tiger but the tiger died of heart failure due to the sound of the shot. she wanted money by making this statement as packletide would give her money to keep the secret of the tiger's death between the two of them.

Miss.Mebbin brought to every body's notice that Mrs.Packletide had not killed the tiger but the goat . The tiger was dead of heart failure caused by the sound of gun shot. Mrs.Mebbin intended to blackmail Mrs.Packletide with this information,she wanted to take more money from her.
