The frog's joy was both sweet and bitter. He was happy because the nightingale could gather so many people to attend her concert. So the frog could earn more as tuition fees. He was happy also because he succeeds in torturing the bird and pushing her towards death. At the same time, it was bitter too. He was jealous of nightingale's talent. He knew she was much better than him. Nobody as great as the present audience had ever come to hear him from far and wide.
