i) 7:1

ii)5:3

iii)4:1

vi)7:4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The present age of the father=50 yrs

The present age of the son=20 yrs

i) If father will be 35yrs old then there is a decrease in age about 15 yrs.So the age of son also decreases to 20-15=5 yrs.

Then the ratio of father to son will be 35:5

i.e.,7:1

ii) If father will be 75 yrs old then there is increase in age about 25 yrs. So the age of son also increase to 20+25=45 yrs.

Then, the ratio of father to son will be 75:45

i.e.,5:3

iii)If the son was 10 yrs old then there is a decrease in age about 10 yrs.So the age of father also decreases to 50-10=40 yrs

Then, the ratio of father to son will be 40:10

i.e,4:1

iv)If the son will be 40 yrs old then there is increase in his age about 20yrs. So the age of the father will also increase to 50+20=70 yrs

Then, the ratio will be 70:40

i.e., 7:4

Step-by-step explanation:

(I) 50 - 35= 15 and 20 - 15 = 5

Ratio between age of father and son before 15 years

35: 15

7:3

(ii) 75-50=25 and 25+20=45

Ratio between age of father and son after 25 years

75 : 45

5 : 3

(iii)20- 10 = 10 and 50-10 = 40

Ratio between age of father and son before 10 years

40:10

4:1

(iv) 40-20=20 and 50+20= 70

Ratio between age of father and son after 20 years

70 : 40

7:4
