Nearly all major multinationals are American, Japanese or European, such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Honda, Nokia. Can you guess why?

Industrialisation began from Europe and then spread to America and later to Japan. By the time India became independent; many companies of these countries had already become financially strong. This is the reason that most of the MNCs are from America, Europe or Japan.

Answer:

Industrial revolution began in Europe. So the European countries are all developed. The American, Japanese and European countries are wealthy because they are industrially developed and they have immense wealth.

These countries are all major multinationals in Nike, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Honda, Nokia because of their surplus amount of funds and rich resources.
