Answer:

Let me answer this in the context of my country, Britain. We've 2 parties, labor and conservative. Both are at loggerheads with each other. So I feel that a coalition between them is impossible. But in the case of a multi party system it's a common phenomenon to observe a coalition. Power sharing is not a simple issue. Parties with divergent ideologies joining together to form a government is indeed a hackle.

Answer:

Over the last free decades, the number and strength of regional parties has expanded. This made the Parliament of India politically more and more diverse. No one national party is able to secure on its own a majority in Lok Sabha. As a result, the national parties are compelled to form alliances with State parties Since 1996, nearly every one of the State parties has got an opportunity to be a part of one or the other national level coalition govemment This has contributed to the strengthenin

federalism and democracy in our country
