Since he couldn’t fly he kept staring at his family members but none of them gazed at him. Then his mother saw him and started coming towards him with a fish. But, to the baby seagull’s dismay, the mother stopped mid way. Liam had no option but to dive into the ocean forgetting that he was afraid to fly. This clearly showed that his need for food made him dive into the ocean and get food for himself. This shows that "Necessity is the mother of invention".
