The proverb is true because when there is a need involved in whatever we do we automatically tend to work hard for it. For instance if we need to get through a competitive exam and to be at top we work hard for it day and night to gain success. Once there was a boy who wanted to be a millionaire. he worked day and night doing small jobs. It then he got some money for doing business. Soon with his hard work he became a millionaire.  Necessity is the need we have and when one needs something we will go for it. It makes us to invent and explore more in order to get what we desired.
